Senior Manager - Application Services - Galaxy Entertainment Group










- Design and develop operational processes, policy and standards
- Working closely with Senior Management to define and achieve short-terms and long-terms goal
- Report and present teams’ status to senior management in a regular basis
- Leading teams to work according to company plans and directions
- Define KPIs and development plans for Managers
- Review performance for Managers in regular basis
- Plan and Manage team resources for different projects and tasks
- Accountable for ongoing management and long-term planning for database systems
- Accountable on Quality Assurance governance and management process
- Negotiate and response to Audit and Security requirements
- Managing Business Users expectations
- Managing vendors and teams to improve service level and quality to Business Users
- Defines SLA on different measurement aspects
- Enforce SDLC processes


- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area of study, or equivalent experience
- 8 years relevant working experience on Software Applications/DBMS or related areas
- Familiar with different best practices and tools related to both DBMS and QA areas
- Project Management, Information Security and/or ITIL certifications, an advantage
- Previous experience leading highly effective teams is required
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills are required
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a good ability to communicate in English. The ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required
- Ability to adopt always changing working environment and able to handle unexpected situations
- Willing to work overtime and on an on-call basis, commit and delegate to any work assignments, and ability to motivate the team
- Prior experience working the casino and hotel management systems is an advantage
